I WILL NOT LACK

To lack is to be in need of something (means of sustenance), to suffer inadequacy, scarcity, insufficiency, famine, drought, poverty, etc. To be deprived of something which is very important to one’s happiness, satisfaction and fulfilment in life.

Lack is not just a function of your physical or social status, much more, it’s a function of your mind.

Do you possess an abundance or lack mind-set?

Are there good in the land of Nigeria? Is there still fullness in Nigeria? Are there still resources to go round everyone in Nigeria?

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10).

The old lion perishes for lack of prey, and the cubs of the lioness are scattered (Job. 4:11).

Why do people suffer lack? Some of the reasons are listed here:

Sin (plague of the heart)
Mind-set of lack
Laziness (slothfulness)
Lack of wisdom
Pride (arrogance/haughtiness)...
Wastefulness/lavish lifestyle... living above your means
Stinginess - withholding more than is necessary... only leads to penury.

How can I be free from lack?
Follow the Shepherd with willingness and obedience (Isaiah 1:19)
Diligence – There is dignity in labour (Prov. 10:4; 12:24)
Seek God above all else (Matt. 6:33)
Enlarge your heart (Isaiah 55:2)
Fear the LORD (Psalm 112:1-10)
As you commit yourself to God and His Word, the yoke of lack is broken in your life... The LORD will restore the years!
