I'TS MY NEW DAWN

Text: Isa. 43:14-19

What is a New Dawn?
New dawn signifies an end to an era and the beginning of a new one. It signifies an end to a dispensation and the beginning of a new dispensation. A new dispensation is emerging for you. If you believe shout a big Amen. Ps. 30:5

The end to the dispensation of anguish and sorrow has seized in your life in Jesus Christ name.
The dispensation of toiling and labouring in vain has ended. For some of us who have been enjoying the grace and the goodness of God just like a tree planted by the rivers of water, God is saying a greater glory is braking forth Haggai 2:9

So, why will God want to end an era and Birth a New era or A New Dawn

1.       To take one out of current misery and challenges. Ex.3:6-8 .
The Lord will deliver you from your affliction this morning. If you believe shout Amen. Ex.14:13-14.

2.       When God is about to do something New. Gen.12:1-3, Gen.17:1-5
For some here, God is starting a new covenant with you, You are receiving a change of name, a change of level, a change of status, in Jesus Christ name.

3.      When God want us to operate more in the power of the Holy-ghost by yielding ourselves completely to Him. Rom.6:16-18

WHY WILL GOD PERMIT TEMPTATION/CHALLENGES AND TRAIL ALONG OUR WAYS

A.     Because God expect every child of God to be a shining light
God want every believer to manifest. He want to use the situations of our lives to birth breakthroughs, signs and wonders to our world. Isa.60:1-3, John 9:1-3
The Bible says; "we are the light of the world" In the mist of gross darkness, you will manifest light to your world, you will be the light of men in Jesus Christ name.

B.     To quickly restore us back in case we are drifting away from His presence
He may allow some difficulties or challenges because He does not want us to be destroyed. In case anyone is gradually backsliding due to un-due pressure and prevailing circumstances of life, God want to restore such person back. Rev 3:19-20

In conclusion

God is standing at the doors of our lives this morning to restore us back because He is about to birth something different.

He wants to begin a new dawn experience in that circumstances of yours that will make your joy full and bring glory to the Father. Will you open to Him so that His glory can be made manifest through you?

He manifested His power through the death of Lazarus, He manifested His power through the miserable and sorrowful life of Jabez, He manifested His power through the situation of Hannah, He manifested His power through the man that was born blind, will you allow Him to be made manifest through your situation?

CRITERIA FOR MIRACLES

Do you believe in miracles? I hope so, because it is our faith in a supernatural God that causes Christians to believe that unexplainable events outside the natural realm do occur from time to time. Mirriam-Webster’s online dictionary defines a “miracle” as, “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs”.

Is an event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin.
The problem we see in the world then is not with God working miracles, but with the question, “Can we expect God to work miracles on our behalf when we pray?” And the answer is a resounding “YES!” Even though some Christians don’t believe that God works miracles on our behalf, the bible is very clear on what God desires to do for those who trust Him.

Then why is it that so many people never receive a miracle even though they believe in it? This leads us to the basic criteria to receive miracle from God.

1. CONSECRATE YOURSELF. (5) Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.” The word “consecrate” means “to be made clean or holy”. It is wrong of us to think that just because we have been saved by God’s grace through our faith in Jesus that we can live our lives in any fashion we desire and expect God to respond to our prayers. Deuteronomy 23:14, You can tie your hair up, wear long sleeved shirts or long dresses, not go to movies and be in church every time the doors are opened, but that doesn’t mean your heart is right before the Lord. 1. Consecration comes from a personal relationship with Christ. 2.

Consecration comes from separating yourself from the lies of the world and from crucifying the flesh. You don’t get saved and keep on doing the same things you always did. Ephesians 2:10, 10 “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. What do you think would have happened if Israel had not consecrated themselves?

Would God have done amazing things among them? You want to see a miracle in your life? Then let the fruit of a life consecrated to God flow out of you.

2. STAND IN THE RIVER (8) Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: ‘When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’” There are two things about standing in the river. 1) The river was what was keeping Israel from getting into the Promised Land. You want to see God work miracles in your life? Then confront the obstruction head on. Are you having a hard time finding time to spend in the word and in prayer? Confront the problem and reevaluate your priorities.

Is the image of who God is clouded in your mind? Get a new picture and hold on to it. Step out into the river. 2) In John 7:37-38, Are you having a difficult time believing that God has a miracle just for you? You need to step out into the river of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to your heart and minister the truth into your life. One of the signs of a maturing Christian is that even when it doesn’t feel like it you still know that you are in the river. Your emotions aren’t being stirred, the Holy Ghost goose bumps aren’t there, you may even feel like there is a barrier between you and the Lord, but you have that internal confidence that He is still right there with you, guiding and teaching, and that in the end you will be refreshed by the river of the Spirit.

3. FOLLOW THE LORD’S PRESENCE (11) See, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you. You need to have the attitude that Moses had in Exodus 33:15, Lord, I’m not going anywhere that You won’t go. I know that You will never lead me into anything that isn’t good and nurturing and wholesome because You have my best interest in mind. So where you go I will follow. Why do you think that Paul’s ministry was so successful? In his own mind it seemed more cost effective and less time consuming to go into Asia and Bythinia to preach the gospel. But when the Lord spoke to him in a dream about going to Macedonia he went. Because of his obedience he then founded a church that would provide financial support for his ministry for years to come. Look at what happens in God’s presence. Leviticus 9:23-24

4. TRUST GOD’S WORD (13) And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the LORD—the Lord of all the earth—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap.” There is absolutely no way under natural law that this was going to happen. How would you have responded if you had been one of the priests carrying the Ark? “I don’t think so Joshua. You go on ahead and test the waters. If it’s OK then we’ll come!” That is one of the problems with the world today. We are so pragmatic. We won’t believe anything we can’t see. We have been so influenced by the world. The world says that the word cancer is a death sentence so we don’t trust God for healing. The world says that people are the products of their own doing so we don’t offer help. The world says that people will never change so we keep the gospel to ourselves.

Even though God’s word says that healing is ours, we become new creations after we are saved and that God so loved the world – everyone. Even when it does not make sense to us His word is the compass that the church must follow to lead us to the promises God has given. You can ask and keep on asking just like Jesus said we are to do but when it comes right down to it are you really trusting God to do what His word says He will do? Luke 8:19-21, That leads us to our next point

5. STEP OUT IN FAITH (15) Turn over to Luke 18 and verse 8. …when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” What do you think that Jesus was talking about? He’s not talking about saving faith because when He returns He will take the church back to heaven for a marriage supper. He is talking about the faith that it takes to know God’s word, believe God’s word, stand on God’s word and step out in God’s word in order to transform your surroundings. If the church were doing that we would be in the midst of the greatest revival the world has ever known. God is waiting for you to step out in that kind of faith to receive your miracle.

6. CROSS OVER TO THE PROMISE (16) So the people crossed over opposite Jericho… I heard a great illustration and it refers to how the closer you get to your miracle the harder the enemy will work to defend his territory. In rugby or American football the hardest yards to cover are the last twenty yards before the goal line. It’s called the Red Zone. You see the closer you get to reaching the goal the more stubborn the enemy gets to keep you from getting it. There are far more touchdowns that are scored from grinding it out on the ground on one yard plunges than 50 yard passes.

How many of you, by faith, know that you have received your miracle but you just haven’t seen the manifestation of it yet? You know God’s Word. You stand on the Word. You act on the Word, but you just haven’t realized the fullness of the promise yet. Why? We’ve tried this before and it didn’t work. Or they have become so tired from grinding out 3-4 yards at a time that they just don’t have the strength to finish. So they just give up and give out before the end zone. Or, they lose sight of the goal because they consider it a hopeless situation. Or, the enemy wants to keep them out more than they want to receive the promise. Hebrews 12:1-3,

7. STAND FIRM (17) The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground. As the priests stood there waiting for Israel to cross on a dry riverbed, they were aware of what was happening upstream from them. The waters were piling up higher and higher. You could see it from where they were. Yet they never wavered. They knew that the One who had promised was able to see it through to the end. I have heard testimonies of people who received complete healing only to be fooled again by the father of all lies who told them that nothing had changed. People have lost their healing, their blessing, and even their testimony because they failed to stand firm in the Lord. Ephesians 6:10-13. So once you have received your promise, your healing, your miracle, don’t just see it but abide in it; live in it. Take possession of it and stay there. Don’t let the devil force you out. He cannot unless you allow it.

1. Consecrate yourself
2. Stand in the river
3. Follow God’s presence
4. Trust God’s word
5. Step out in faith
6. Cross over into the promise
7. Stand firm.

In conclusion read Mark 5:25-34,

This woman did everything she needed to do in order to receive her miracle and Jesus told her to Go in peace…
Is that what you need in your life today?

I SHALL NOT BE MOVED…

Psalm 16:5-8

Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart (Psalm 73:1).
The goodness of God cuts across many generations!
The LORD is good and His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations (Psalm 100:5).

God had foreseen many generations that would spring out from you, even before you were conceived in the womb. His Word will surely be fulfilled in your life and in your children’s lives. You shall not be barren!

Times and seasons do change, but God will never change. He is the unchanging Changer! He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8)… Neither will His Word go without being fulfilled (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’. So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’ (Heb. 13:5-6).

The Lord is my portion… my inheritance and my cup…
In Genesis 15:1, the Word of the Lord came to Abram saying, ‘…I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward…’
At this instance, the Lord Himself becomes your cup of blessing and He guards (secures) and supports everything concerning you, even your future.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance…
All things will surely work together for good to the lovers of God. Even when things appear to be going wrong in their lives and around them, God will eventually fashion out something great out of it, in their favour (Romans 8:28).

I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons…
The LORD, through His divine counsels, makes us wiser than our contemporaries (1 Cor. 2:6-10). This God-given counsel makes one operate on a higher pedestal in life. Even the princes of this world cannot access nor decode this heavenly wisdom. It remains a mystery to them.

As you stand the watch and set yourself on the tower, the LORD will speak to you (Habakkuk 2:1). Your inner reins will instruct you in the night seasons…

I have set the LORD always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved (shaken)…
Even the heavens and the earth will be shaken (Haggai 2:6-7; Hebrews 12:26-27).

The world is passing away, along with its systems and desires… (1 John 2:7). In all these, we shall not be moved! We fear no evil because we have the assurance and confidence of His ever abiding presence (Psalm 23:4; 46:1-2; 91:3).

A NEW DAWN ARISES

2 Corinthians 5:15-17

It’s a new day! The breaking forth of a new season! A new beginning…
Greater things yet undone are about to spring forth.
The Bible likens the rising of the sun to a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; and to a strong man rejoicing to run his course (Psalm 19:5).

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth, I tell you of them (Isaiah 42:10).

Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19).

...And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again (2 Cor. 5:15).

Through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, we have received a mandate and grace to henceforth live for Him, not for the fulfilment of lustful desires. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we no longer live to glorify self, but to glorify Jesus (Gal. 2:20; Phil. 1:21).

So, Christ died for us all, so that our living would be profitable and yield the desired fruits of righteousness.

Through His death on the Cross, many people were drawn unto Him and sons were raised (John 12:24, 32).

…Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer… (2 Cor. 5:16).

When we walk in the light of the knowledge of God’s glory, we begin to see people as God sees them. Having received spiritual insight, we view things from the heavenly perspective.

Even our ‘knowledge’ of Christ Jesus is brought under divine scrutiny, and it’s no longer after the flesh, but as the Spirit of God reveals. We begin to see great potentials in people. Our eyes of understanding are being enlightened, we see hope, we see solutions, we see the rising of a new day, a new realm of glory!

…Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new… (2 Cor. 5:17).

Being in Christ is a function of strategic positioning.
If you are rightly positioned in the Spirit, in such a way that you receive daily insights from God, your inner man is being renewed day by day… (2 Cor. 4:16).

The new creation experience brings you under the spotlight of God. It enhances your capacity for creativity and innovation.

Furthermore, the old Adamic nature is put to death, and you receive the grace to walk in the newness of life.

Old things have passed away, old habits are gone, the old life vanishes and a new life burgeons…
Behold, all things have become new!

As a new creation (regenerated) man, you are not born after the similitude of Adam, but of Christ Jesus (1 Cor. 15:21-22, 45, 47).
