A GREAT AND EFFECTIVE DOOR

A GREAT AND EFFECTIVE DOOR
1 COR. 16:9

In Paul's letter to the Corinthians, he related how God opened the door of ministerial success to him in Ephesus.

Door here signifies opportunities and divine provision.
It's the door of service...May the Lord open to you, the door of service.
Like David, you will serve your generation according to the will of God.

This door must be opened unto you before you can make any meaningful impact in life.
It's the door of ministry, and it is accessed on the platform of mercy (2 Cor. 4:1).

Apostle Paul also spoke about the door of utterance (Colossians 4:3) and the door of faith (Acts 14:27).

For every open door we experience on earth, there must have been an open door in heaven. This door is not opened by man, it's opened by the Almighty God (Rev. 3:7-8; 4:1).

'......And there are many adversaries'
Adversaries will surely come to distract or dissuade you, as you prepare to step into your God-given inheritance. You must hold on to the Word of God.

Some of the 'many adversaries' we need to watch out for include the following:
The devil, the world, sin, the flesh, tradition of men....

Like Apostle Paul, we must forget the things of the past and reach out for the things ahead....pressing towards the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:13-14).

STEP INTO THE PLACE THAT GOD HAS ASSIGNED FOR YOU

THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD

THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD
GALATIANS 4:4-5

God created man in His own image and after His own likeness. God gave man the dominion mandate (Genesis 1:28). Thereafter, the devil came and corrupted the image of God in man, through sin.

Consequently, man became spiritually separated from his creator. Yet, God made provision for the redemption of man, in spite of his fall (Gen 3:15). What a merciful God we serve!

Several messengers of the light (the prophets of old) came ahead of Christ, pointing to Him through their messages and many of them prophesied about His birth and ministry.

John the Baptist was conceived 6 months before Jesus (Luke 1:35-37)

The Lord deliberately closed Elizabeth's womb for this purpose: that her son (John the Baptist) would be the forerunner of the Messiah according the God's divine orchestration...(Luke 1:13-17)

Isaiah rightly prophesied, saying:
'....The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light, those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined' (Isaiah 9:1-2).
This prophecy was fulfilled in Matthew 4:13-16

He shall deliver (save) His people from their sins - Matt 1:21-23; Isaiah 7:14

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.....Gal 3:13-14; Romans 8:1-3

As we celebrate the season of Christ's birth, the yoke of sin upon your neck is destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ!

Declare:
I'm the redeemed of the Lord!
I'm redeemed from the oppression of sin, iniquity and ungodliness.
Sin shall no more have dominion over me.
I'm redeemed from sickness, disease, bareness, poverty, untimely death, etc in the name of Jesus Christ!

Jesus is the reason for the season! Receive the grace to walk in the newness of life....
